Question by honesty_counts: Is it almost impossible for a 45 year old man, just divorced, to ever get married again?
I read somewhere that for men over 40 it is all but impossible to find a single woman who wishes to get married; is this true?

I just got divorced after I discovered my wife was cheating on me. She was 10 years younger than me so she wanted “fresh skin”, and I was dull and boring for her. She asked for the divorce, so I’m now single and looking at a future of living with 2 cats and that’s about it.

I’m a successful professional with a good sense of humour but I’ve been told by my friends at work that for a man my age I have a better chance of getting killed in a car wreck than of finding a good woman.
So why is it that there are so few good women available and yet so many good men to pick from? Is it that all of the good women have already been taken and now there are no women left for us single gentlemen?

What is your opinion on this? Am I doomed to be alone the rest of my life?

No. You jus have to reevaluate and make a list of what your wants and needs are. Also, there is a show that comes on called Tough Love. Its about woman but i think the principles can apply to men as well. Hope this helps.
